To stationery. (sorry for the click bait TEEHEE!)
I think it started when shopping for school supplies with my dad when I was very teeny. My dad LOVES a good pen. And paper. And sketch books. And varied pencil strengths. You get the gist.
My current mission on The House front is to create an effective workspace. I just can’t get stuff done in the lounge or on the dining room table. I’ve picked two possible spaces for this home office of mine, and now I’m working on some office inspiration which will help me decide which space to choose and how to maximise it’s efficacy.

There are certain things that make a home office or workspace tricky. Namely, WHERE the eff to put it if you don’t have a designated study or library. Most of us have to be quite creative – so I found these examples quite useful. The spots that don’t scream “PUT A DESK IN ME!” that can be turned into the perfect workspace…

Black and white is definitely my jam when it comes to office. I wouldn’t have guessed, but I’m very drawn to all the monochrome examples I’ve found. This is kinda my dream situation.

Good utilisation of space here – a desk in front of a window isn’t always going to work well. You’ve got a potential sun-in-your-face situation, plus where to put your note board or white board? Taaadaa! A whole pin board wall! Too clever and amazing.
A clean white space with gentle pastels is always going to make you happy to be in there, so I can see the appeal. Lots of storage also makes this a useful space, but unless you've got a dedicated nook or room, tough to do.

More neutrals doing magical things! A bit more cluttered which is more my reality, if I'm to be honest.

I love the neutrals used to make this a clean, minimal space in which to work peacefully. I like the little nooks for everything too - what you need is right there, but also neatly stored away.

A diagonal wall that's pretty useless for anything else works beautifully here. I also like the use of minimal shelving here - if you don't need tons of storage this is awesome.

For the ULTIMATE space saver - love this but don't know if it exists local like. Ah those Scandinavians.

Very retro and on trend desk & chair with the lovely addition of plants. I don't find clunky accessories good for an office though. I need clean space, which is why making the things you NEED super cool works - they decorate for you.

And here's what I'm going to do :) It fits perfectly into the better space I have, and won't take up too much space into the room (if that makes sense?). I'm deciding between raw wood or the black used here. I kinda like how the black turns it into a statement but I don't think it will fit into the open plan style I currently have... Love this solution!

After this point I’m likely to yell: “TO TYPO!” After I demand “TO BUILDERS!” and “TO GAME!”
Sidenote: WHAT did we do before Typo? Although admittedly I must say the old school suppliers (CNA and PNA) are stocking some fairly nifty stuff these days – don’t neglect to explore if stationery is your crack.
Playing to my point of making office supplies your office accessories i.e. negating the need for space-filling decorations – let us indulge in some stationery, shall we?
"Tofu stationery storage" - more Bento box but I get it. Minimal and neat - very like.

Yep, this is all the Typo Holy Grail right here. Nothing more to be said.

Kikki.K showing truly clever design through this minimalistic but oh-so covetable style. That blue colour is fanfuckingtastic, ahscuse me.
This has to happen to me. I have a bluetooth keyboard - pop my laptop onto an ergo board and I'm in BINNIS I tell you! But it's from Japan.
